My pets have been going to Dr. Gabriel for the past two years and I am very grateful to have found such a caring and knowledgeable veterinarian that uses both holistic/herbal and western medicine to help treat animals. She has made a significant impact on the health and well being of my pets by providing acupuncture services to three of my pets, including my Frankie. Each have their own set of issues and the acupuncture along with herbal remedies she has suggested, have truly helped my pets live healthier and happier lives, which makes me as a pet parent feel good about giving my pets the best.

Hannah is my 8 year old Golden Doodle (Service and Therapy Dog). Almost two years ago, Hannah was having severe issues with ear infections and seizure-like activity. Hannah would stiffen up and collapse by me with some shaking, yet fully aware of her surroundings and us talking to her. My other Vet kept insisting Hannah's ears needed daily cleaning, along with different medications, and felt she was having seizures. I spent $1,000.00 for tests to see what was causing her problems. After all the tests were done and results were in, "NOTHING" could be found to explain what was wrong with her, or what could be causing her symptoms. My Vet insisted Hannah be put on phenobarbital. I certainly was NOT going to use drugs on my girl if they couldn't tell me what is wrong. I wanted a second opinion and took Hannah to Valley Central in Allentown. I consulted with Dr. Ron Hodges and clearly expressed NO DRUGS for Hannah. Dr. Ron told me about Dr. Diane Gabriel and acupuncture for Hannah. I was very skeptical at first not knowing how this would help her, but willing to try. I met with Dr. Gabriel in May of 2015 and we worked out a plan for Hannah's treatment. Hannah has acupuncture every other week, she is now on Natural Balance dog food Duck and Potato, and 1 (20mg) of Pepcid a day. In June of 2015, Hannah had a small episode of seizure-like activity. I was beginning to doubt this would ever help, but after talking with Dr. Gabriel and realizing it could take a few treatments to start helping her, we continued on. Well, here we are 5 months later going into November and guess what? "MY HANNAH'S EAR INFECTION'S ARE NO MORE! MY HANNAH'S SEIZURE-LIKE ACTIVITY HAS CEASED!" I AM SO PLEASED MY HANNAH IS BACK! I AM SO THANKFUL FOR ALL THE HELP FROM DR. GABRIEL AND DR. RON. NO MORE HAVING TO CLEAN HER EARS DAILY AND NO MORE WATCHING MY GIRL SUFFER IN PAIN, AND WE OWE THAT ALL TO DR. GABRIEL ~~~ THANK YOU SO MUCH, LOVE DENISE AND HANNAH ~~~

In early September, I sought out Dr. Gabriel for help with my senior Bloodhound Sirius, who is a retired search and rescue dog. He has been fighting a chronic abscess in his face since April, has borderline kidney and thyroid values, and a significant heart murmur. At 13 years of age, he is not as active as he used to be, and has been getting weak in his hind end. Dr. Gabriel has us on a regimen of acupuncture, homeopathy and herbal supplements as well as fish oil. I have seen significant improvement in the way he stands and walks, he no longer tucks his tail and seems to feel better. The drainage and swelling from the abscess is nearly stopped. We've only had 5 treatments and I will be curious to see if there is any change in his lab results at the beginning of November. I appreciate Dr. Gabriel's willingness to discuss treatment options and her multidisciplinary approach towards our problems.

My soon to be 16 yr old lab, Wendy, has been seeing Dr. Gabriel for acupuncture therapy for almost two years now. When I started the sessions, I did not think that Wendy had much time left with us. She had trouble getting up, walking, and was diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis. She was depressed, in pain, and slowing down quickly. Now, two years later, Wendy is enjoying a good quality of life and still sharing good memories with us. I am so grateful to Dr. Gabriel, not only for the acupuncture sessions, but for the broad knowledge and advice that she provides. Her empathy and compassion are incredibly evident and greatly appreciated as well.

Ginger's kidney issues were getting the best of her that is, until I met Dr. Gabriel. Her true interest and sincere care allowed for a happier and healthier life her last few years. I am forever grateful.
